Nuclear agency to send in team
From Times Wire Reports
The International Atomic Energy Agency said it would send a team Tehran requested to work jointly on a plan meant to clear up suspicions about the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities.
The visit might help blunt the threat of new U.N. sanctions and increase pressure on the U.S. and its closest allies to compromise on an enrichment freeze.
Iran says it wants only to generate power. But the West suspects that it wants weapons.
