Update -- Coach Michael Cooper promised lineup changes in the wake of Sunday’s loss to Seattle but on Tuesday said there is a “50-50 chance” he will go with the same starting five. Cooper likes the backcourt combination of rookie Marta Fernandez and newcomer Sherill Baker, a second-year player who has come off the bench to average 14.5 points, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals in two games. Rookie Sidney Spencer, another reserve bidding for a starting spot, leads the league in three-point shooting percentage (55.2). Sacramento’s offense is run by the steady hand of ninth-year pro Ticha Penicheiro, one of four players in WNBA history who has collected 1,000 assists or more. She has 1,762 assists in her career.
