A refreshing view of costume design

Share

AS the publicity chair for the Costume Designers Guild, I’m thrilled to be able to thank Sheigh Crabtree for her excellent coverage on Julie Weiss’ designs for “Blades of Glory” [“How’d They Do That?” Feb. 11]. Crabtree did such an amazing job expressing the chaos, the challenge and even the fun of taking on this kind of process. I wish I could send it to all the writers who don’t seem to get that you can write an entire story on costumes without using the words “styled,” “stylist,” “costumed” or “fashion.”
