Chamber group due in Mexico

Pasadena-based Southwest Chamber Music will play five concerts at the Universidad National Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City from May 23 to 28.

The Pasadena group, founded in 1987, will be joined by the Tambuco Percussion Ensemble of Mexico City and musicians from the UNAM center to present the complete chamber works of Mexican composer Carlos Chavez.
