Awe, and growling, over grizzly series

Re “Attacked by a grizzly,” two-part series, April 29 and 30

This is the most gripping story I can ever recall reading. There is no way that television could have captured this incredible tale of the horror of the bear attack and the ensuing rescue by hikers, park rangers and pilots. This kind of reporting is what newspapers are all about.

Thank goodness I will get tomorrow’s paper by 5:30 in the morning.

I guess it’s like whipping a dead horse, but with the front-page article on a grizzly attack that took place in August 2005, you’re really beginning to hit bottom. Irrelevant and out of date, the article certainly doesn’t belong on the front page of any reputable newspaper.
