Trade group names president

The Entertainment Software Assn., a trade group representing the $7.4-billion video game software industry, selected former Assistant Secretary of Commerce Michael Gallagher as its next president. Gallagher, who served in the Bush administration, takes his post as the industry faces growing piracy and pressure from lawmakers, including Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), to curb children’s access to violent games.
