A 9-year-old German girl was so upset about having to tidy her room that she held up a sign in her window saying: “Help! Please call the police!”
Pedestrians in the city of Braunschweig saw the girl crying in the window next to her 2-year-old brother.
Officers who were alerted rushed to the scene to discover that the girl had argued with her mother about tidying her room, which a police spokesman said “looked like a battlefield.”
Police took the mother’s side. The girl cleaned her room and made up with her mother.
