Officials plan to expand summer job program

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other civic leaders announced their intention Monday to expand this summer’s jobs programs to reach as many as 10,000 teenagers and young adults. Jobs provided through Hire LA’s Youth 2007 are aimed at applicants between the ages of 14 and 24.
