A furry memento sent to GI’s family
From Times Wire Reports
The family of Army Spc. Justin A. Rollins finally got to hold one of the last things he held.
A female puppy the 22-year-old nuzzled the night before his death in a roadside bombing in Iraq arrived in Concord. Rollins’ family and girlfriend pushed to get the dog named Hero from Iraq after seeing photos of Rollins with her.
The Army retrieved the puppy and had her shipped to the family.
