Re “Judgment call,” editorial, Oct. 30

Your assertion that judges “are, and should be, righters of wrongs” is true only insofar as they are bound by the Constitution and the rule of law. Righting wrongs is a very subjective standard, I’m sure you’ll agree, and allows for unlimited power for judges, power that may not be wielded in ways you agree with next time.
