HP director’s resignation: An article in Business on Saturday about former Hewlett-Packard Co. director Tom Perkins’ “60 Minutes” interview described him as calling for then-Chairwoman Patricia Dunn’s ouster on grounds that she allowed HP investigators to use fake identities to gain access to personal phone records, a practice known as pretexting. That account of events should have been attributed to Perkins; Dunn’s contention, her spokesman said, is that she neither allowed nor had the authority to allow any investigation.
