KROQ Christmas: For night two of the Almost Acoustic Christmas, KROQ-FM (106.7) is going with an indie vibe: Muse, the Shins, Silversun Pickups, Spoon, Jimmy Eat World, Feist and Modest Mouse will perform. The holiday shows are Dec. 8-9 at Gibson Amphitheatre and the station will soon announce on-sale information.

Robot jam: Gibson Guitar announced Tuesday the limited availability of the world’s first guitar with robotic technology, aptly called the Gibson Robot Guitar. The instrument will be available on Dec. 7.
