S Bar will soon lounge at Hollywood and Vine

Brent Bolthouse and Sam Nazarian have put their stamp all over West Hollywood with Hyde, Area, the Lobby and more. Now they’re ready to make their mark in Hollywood, starting with the bohemian-inspired, Philippe Starck-designed S Bar, a new intimate lounge (capacity 100) on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. Opening is scheduled for mid-October.
“With the opening of S Bar and our new Katsuya Hollywood right next door, we’re very excited to be among the first of several high-end offerings going into this rapidly evolving neighborhood,” Nazarian says.
The interior design of the new spot, which will be open nightly from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., is highlighted by four wall-size photo canvases of Versailles from French photographer Patrick Tourneboeuf and also includes a neon-lighted grand bar and doorways, all intended to create the look and vibe of an artist’s warehouse gallery.
“S Bar was created to be an intimate, comfortable place that’s also an absolutely arresting visual experience,” Nazarian says.
