The Fox unscripted series “Nashville” appears to be the first casualty of the 2007-08 television season.

The network said Thursday that it was pulling the series from its schedule -- at least for the next six weeks -- after two little-watched episodes.

Reruns of the first-season police drama “K-Ville” will air in its place at 9 tonight and next Friday.

“Nashville,” a look at young adults trying to find success in the country music capital, is expected to return Nov. 9, according to a Fox official, who said the show received a 13-episode order and would remain in production.

“Nashville” drew 2.69 million viewers for its premiere Sept. 14 and 2.18 million for its second episode last Friday. That put it in last place both weeks in its time slot.
