Avery Dennison, 3M settle suits

3M Corp. and Avery Dennison Corp. said they had settled patent lawsuits over adhesives used to put images on the sides of buses and trucks.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed. Pasadena-based Avery Dennison and 3M will license each other’s patents.
