Judge frees jailed son of cartel chief

A judge has overturned a five-year prison sentence for the son of Mexico’s most wanted suspected drug trafficker, Joaquin “Shorty” Guzman, and ordered him released from jail, Mexican news media reported.
The judge said there was not enough evidence for the conviction of Archivaldo Ivan Guzman, sentenced in February after being found guilty of money laundering.
