Philadelphia 8, at Washington 4: The Phillies completed a three-game sweep of the Nationals, who have lost nine in a row, tying this season’s longest dry spell and the worst skid since the Nationals moved from Montreal in 2005.
at Florida 12, Colorado 2: Anibal Sanchez yielded two runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings to win in his first start since May 2007. A shoulder injury that required surgery last June sidelined him for most of last season.
