Re “Only in L.A.”

Steve Harvey’s column gave us precious chuckles with which to start the day, and all of a different sort: There were the neatly written ads with innocent misspellings that created bizarre meanings never dreamed of by the writer; professionally created signs with one letter dropped, skewing meaning; and perfectly-written and spelled signs that caused the reaction “what were they thinking?”

The column was addictive for word junkies -- always fun to share over coffee in the morning. We miss it very, very much. Please reconsider your decision to eliminate Steve’s column.
