Militants hit NATO supplies
Times Wire Reports
Militants in Peshawar, Pakistan, destroyed 12 trucks ferrying supplies to NATO and U.S. forces in Afghanistan, killing two people, witnesses and police said.
Several gunmen fired rockets and automatic weapons at U.S.-led coalition trucks, killing a driver and a clerk, said police officer Ahsanullah Khan. A reporter saw two military Humvees on fire aboard the trucks after the attack.
Up to 75% of the supplies for Western forces in Afghanistan pass through Pakistan.
