A man pleaded guilty Monday to using a Berkeley warehouse for a massive marijuana-growing operation.

Joshua Hedlund’s plea came as the result of a two-year investigation by the Berkeley Police Department.

More than 2,700 marijuana plants were found at his warehouse.

Hedlund also pleaded guilty to money laundering and agreed to forfeit more than $1 million from the marijuana operation.

He also gave up his right to more than 7,000 acres in Humboldt and Trinity counties that he purchased from the Eel River Sawmill.
