Sondheim salon is a hot ticket

Beat that, Miley Cyrus fans. Sure, the “Hannah Montana” pop star sells tickets fast. But how about Broadway icon Stephen Sondheim?

Tickets for “A Salon With Stephen Sondheim,” to be hosted by the Academy for New Musical Theatre in Hollywood on March 13, went on sale at the academy website at 10 a.m. on Feb. 1 and sold out three minutes later, the group reported Wednesday. By 10:10, there was a waiting list as long as the reservation list.

Of course, the hall for the event seats only 80, but still. . . .
