Hamas rocket injures 2 children
Hamas militants fired a rocket into an Israeli border village, wounding two young sisters as they played outside their home at Kibbutz Beeri.
The injuries occurred as Hamas sent rocket barrages for a second day, after an Israeli strike that killed seven of its police officers. Israel intensified an air campaign after Hamas claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing Monday that killed one woman in southern Israel.
Overnight, Israeli aircraft fired at militants who had just launched rockets, the military said. Hamas said four of its men were wounded.
