Hurd is named to News Corp. board

News Corp. named Hewlett-Packard Co. Chief Executive Mark Hurd to its board, replacing former U.S. Education Secretary Rod Paige.
Hurd has been HP’s chief since 2005. Paige will become a News Corp. consultant.
