From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Motorola Inc., the largest U.S. maker of mobile phones, plans to start selling a portable pocket-sized media player in a bid to bolster revenue as its handset sales decline.

The device can receive live TV signals and play saved programs and video clips on its 4.3-inch wide screen, Schaumburg, Ill.-based Motorola said. It gave no pricing or availability information for the media player, which comes with a four-hour battery.
