Having a streak of good fortune

As a writer and one who left the $200 dye job behind long ago, I had to laugh out loud at Monica Corcoran’s description of the new dark-roots-streak look [“A Little Naughty Streak,” Dec. 23]. “. . . [L]ike an asphalt freeway running through a wheat field” nailed it! Proves once again that if you go your own way, fashion will eventually catch up with you.
