RE: Mike Meire’s idea [“Design Miami Loses Its Heat,” Dec. 13] for a kitchen that includes “an aquarium with red snapper swimming about and a pen in the corner for squealing pigs” as an example of his belief that “a kitchen shouldn’t be a showroom but a place where life takes place.” How about adding a miniature slaughterhouse to complete the circle?
