Winning lottery ticket unclaimed
A $1-million winning lottery ticket from a New Year’s Eve raffle still has not been cashed, California Lottery officials said Friday.
The ticket, bought at the Olmos Market in Santa Ana, is the only one of five $1-million winners that has not been redeemed, spokeswoman Catherine Doyle Johnston said.
The ticket has the numbers 0-6-7-8-7-5-0.
It can be redeemed at a state lottery office or mailed to the lottery.
The ticket holder has 180 days from the time the winning numbers were chosen to collect. If it is not claimed, the money will go to the state to support schools.
Johnston said the person holding the ticket should immediately sign the back.
