Bad AT&T; news portends recession

Regarding the story “AT&T; shares fall on CEO warning” (Jan. 9): Uh oh. When the former AT&T;, a darling of the protectorate Bush administration, starts ringing the bell that they’re losing a lot of business because their customers are going into foreclosure, causing access-line disconnects since the economy is weakening, you can hear them now saying hello to the 2008 recession.
