Brinkley divorce deal is reached

Model Christie Brinkley’s contentious divorce trial ended with a settlement after a week of salacious testimony about her fourth husband’s affair with a teenager and his Internet porn proclivities.

She gets custody of their two children and some property. The husband, Peter Cook, 49, gets $2.1 million.

“It’s to me a very bittersweet moment because it really is the death of a marriage,” Brinkley, 54, said in Central Islip.

Brinkley and Cook were married for a decade before Cook met the teenager in a toy store and began an affair.
