Rude interruptions provide comic relief
Barack Obama was in the midst of his standard stump speech at a fundraiser at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati when a cellphone rang.
“Is that Bush calling?” Obama said as the crowd laughed. “McCain? Who’s that? They’re always trying to break my flow.”
A few minutes later some music inexplicably started up.
“Uh-oh,” the Illinois Democrat said. “Now what are you guys trying?” He laughed and said, “Usually the theme music comes right at the end.”
