Feast or famine

Re “Dining room dollars,” Opinion, June 10

By contrasting privatizing the Senate’s food service with nationalizing healthcare, Jonah Goldberg makes his values clear. Would you rather eat blah, nutritionally approved food every day from a limited menu prepared by the government or have your choice of delicious (albeit fat-laden) meals and starve one day out of six?

Goldberg votes for starving the 45 million Americans without healthcare. I hope that the next time Goldberg dines at the newly privatized Senate dining room, it is his day to go without. Perhaps then he will understand the difference between government and private industry.
