All his ladies, all at once

YES, the party was in Patrick McMullan’s honor. But that didn’t stop him from working it.

McMullan -- a kind of anti-paparazzo, the man celebrities actually ask to take their picture -- was celebrating the publication of his latest book, “Glamour Girls,” a glossy homage to the women he has snapped over the last two decades. That means 300 pages of red-carpet and party-swirl candids -- New York socialites on the steps of the Met, Madonna close-up with a big happy grin, Dolly Parton in hot-pink rhinestones.

During his Oscar week fete at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, McMullan balanced his camera on one shoulder with one hand and corralled socialites and Hollywood types with the other.

Snap!

There were McMullan’s regulars -- Dita Von Teese in filmy navy blue, heiress Casey Johnson in a red bandage dress and socialite Crystal Lourd.

Smile!

Stylist Annie Jagger and publicist Allison Hodge wore ivory jackets despite the rain, and Jagger even brought out the fur.

Vintage enthusiast Mark Carlin spiced up an Yves Saint Laurent suit with big saint-and-sinner cuff links.

Serious diamonds from Leviev were dripping from models, upping the glamour quotient a few carats more. That 81-carat pendant was as blinding as McMullan’s flashing bulb, which never stopped popping as he worked the room endlessly -- material for his next book, perhaps?
