Boycott boycotts

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has written a thoughtful and rational analysis of the idea of boycotting Olympic Games, and of comparing what is going on today with what happened 40 years ago. In seeking to punish China for its internal and external policies, Kareem is correct when he concludes that the best response is a continuing dialogue with China and the interaction of our cultures, rather than a boycott.

It might also help to clean up our house before preaching to others.
