Praising Lelouch

THANKS FOR Susan King’s wonderful article on Claude Lelouch [“You Really Have to Give Claude Lelouch Credit,” May 11]. He has always been my favorite French film director, and I had no idea the French community did not appreciate him.

His style was so different and original. I have been wondering why we haven’t seen much by him lately. I am glad to hear we get to see another production by him. There are many of us who love his work, and we hope he continues to honor us with his art.
