What’s America’s healthiest city?
Burlington, the state’s biggest city, is the healthiest city in the U.S., with the largest proportion of people -- 92% -- who say they are in good or great health. It’s also among the lowest in obesity, diabetes and other measures of ill health, according to a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The unhealthiest city is Huntington, W.Va., where nearly half of the adults are obese -- more than the national average.
Huntington also leads in heart disease, diabetes and in the percentage of elderly people who have lost all of their teeth (half of them have).
