The Defense Department last week identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq:

Aaron M. Allen, 24, of

Buellton, Calif.; corporal,

Marine Corps. Allen was killed in combat Nov. 14 in Anbar province, west of Baghdad.

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Marines, 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton.

Charles Yi Barnett, 19, of Bel Air, Md.; private, Army. Barnett died of noncombat- related injuries Thursday in Tallil, south of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Donald V. Clark, 37, of Memphis; chief warrant officer, Army. Clark was one of two soldiers killed Nov. 15 when their OH-58 Kiowa helicopter crashed after hitting wires while on a mission over Mosul, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, Task Force 49 at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska.

Christian P. Humphreys, 28, of Fallon, Nev.; chief warrant officer, Army. Humphreys was one of two soldiers killed Nov. 15 when their OH-58 Kiowa helicopter crashed after hitting wires while on a mission over Mosul, north of Baghdad. Marcelo R. Velasco, 40, of Miami; gunnery sergeant, Marine Corps. Velasco died of noncombat-related injuries Wednesday in Anbar province, west of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.
