Suicide bomber kills at least 12
Times Wire Reports
A suicide bomber struck Shiite Muslim worshipers at a mosque run by followers of cleric Muqtada Sadr, killing at least 12 people a day after Iraqi lawmakers approved a security pact with the United States.
The bomber blew himself up near the entrance of the main mosque in Musayyib, 40 miles south of Baghdad.
In the capital, thousands of Sadr loyalists took to the streets of the Sadr City district to rally against the pact.
