Shooting suspect is officer’s son
From Times Wire Reports
A teenager suspected in a shooting that killed a 16-year-old high school junior and seriously injured three people is the son of a Detroit police officer.
Police spokesman James Tate said the Michigan State Police would take over the investigation to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
Two other teens have also been arrested in Thursday’s shooting near Detroit’s Henry Ford High School.
