Man charged in wife’s slaying
Times Wire Reports
A man was charged with killing his wife, who authorities say wanted to leave him and return to her native Canada with the couple’s children.
A grand jury indicted Bradley Cooper on a first-degree murder charge in the July death of Nancy Cooper, 34, whose body was found at a construction site about three miles from their home in the Raleigh suburb of Cary. Cooper, also 34, has insisted that his wife went jogging and never returned. He is jailed without bail.
