Update -- With a victory tonight over the Dream, the Sparks can clinch no worse than third place in the Western Conference. And if San Antonio defeats Connecticut tonight, it will clinch first, and the Sparks would be guaranteed to open the playoffs next Thursday against Seattle. If Seattle beats Atlanta on Friday night, it will clinch second and earn home-court advantage against the Sparks in the best-of-three series. If Atlanta beats Seattle, the Sparks and Storm will play for second place Sunday at Staples Center in the regular-season finale.
