Just ask for the “Writer’s Block” special rate. The best available rate I found was $239 per night or $478, including taxes for both nights of the two-night minimum stay. And here’s a tip: Take your union card with you. Members of any entertainment union (Writers Guild, Screen Actors Guild, Directors Guild of America, Actor’s Equity, etc.) receive an automatic 20% discount on drinks at the Blue Bar or the lobby when they present their union card.
