After reading Chris Lee’s article (“Eli Roth: I Barely Survived Tarantino,” Aug. 16), I came to admire Lt. Aldo Raine’s crack team of Nazi-terrorizing Jewish covert operatives (the so-called Basterds). Each Basterd possesses the ferocity of the Zulu, the craft of the Redskin, the marksmanship of the Boer and the ferocity of a South Sea Islander.
