Where you’ve seen her Before ruling as queen of England (and earning a Golden Globe nomination for that role in “The Young Victoria”), British actress Emily Blunt paid her dues as a peon slaving away for Meryl Streep in “The Devil Wears Prada” (which earned her a Globe nod in ‘07). She won that year, but it was for her performance in the BBC TV film “Gideon’s Daughter.” She has also turned heads with smaller, but memorable, roles in “Dan in Real Life” and “Charlie Wilson’s War.” Whether playing princess or pauper, Blunt isn’t afraid of hard work. She donned rubber gloves and a biohazard suit to help costar Amy Adams (“Enchanted”) mop up bloody crime scenes in “Sunshine Cleaning” (2008). When Blunt was considering an upcoming role in “Gulliver’s Travels,” “I remember Amy Adams said to me, ‘Dude, you gotta play the princess. You get so many fans,’ ” Blunt says. “Cause if you’ve got a tiara on, you are down with the kids.”-- Jodie Burke
