Afghanistan: An Op-Ed article Saturday about the war in Afghanistan contained an outdated Brookings Institution figure of 1,445 for the number of civilian casualties in 2008. The updated figure, from Brookings’ Afghanistan index on Feb. 2, is 2,118.
