LeBron James and Cavaliers have an easy night

at Cleveland 94, Memphis 79: The Cavaliers never trailed, making for a relatively easy night for LeBron James, the NBA’s second-leading scorer. James scored 15 points in 30 minutes and didn’t play the fourth quarter. Rudy Gay and Hakim Warrick scored 13 points apiece for the Grizzlies, who lost their fifth straight game.

at Toronto 118, Minnesota 110: Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani each scored 26 points and Anthony Parker had 24 in the Raptors’ 10th consecutive victory over the Timberwolves. Randy Foye scored 25 points for Minnesota; Kevin Love had 11 points in the first quarter but finished with just 15.

at Chicago 120, Orlando 102: The three Bulls acquired at the trade deadline combined for 37 points in their home debuts: Tim Thomas had 17 points, John Salmons 11 and Brad Miller had nine points, seven rebounds and five assists. The Bulls shot a season-high 56.5%, scoring the most points by a Magic opponent this season.

at Houston 98, Portland 94: The Rockets won their eighth straight home game and fifth in a row overall, both season-best streaks, as they moved past the Trail Blazers into fourth place in the Western Conference standings.

at San Antonio 93, Dallas 76: Playing for the first time this season without Tim Duncan, who sat out with a sore right knee, the Spurs won behind Tony Parker’s 37 points and 12 assists.

at Phoenix 112, Charlotte 102: Steve Nash scored 22 points, though he left because of an ankle injury, and the Suns spoiled the return of Boris Diaw and Raja Bell to US Airways Center. Diaw and Bell, traded to the Bobcats two months ago, combined to almost upset Phoenix: Diaw finished with a season-high 27 points and Bell scored 23.

Lakers 107, at Oklahoma City 93: Kobe Bryant scored 10 of his 36 points in a three-minute span of the fourth quarter to keep in check a rally by the Thunder.
