Update: It appears as though the Suns’ Steve Nash will be back in the lineup against the Clippers. Nash, who was out for Tuesday’s game against Memphis because of back spasms, told the Arizona Republic on Thursday after practice that his back was feeling better. The Clippers, in the midst of a stretch of three games in four days, had Thursday off. They are mired in a couple of dubious streaks: They have lost five in a row, and Coach Mike Dunleavy has received technical fouls in the last three games. Baron Davis suffered a bruised tailbone from a fall on camera equipment and felt back spasms in Tuesday’s loss at Sacramento. He had an 11-point performance that night, shooting three for 17 from the field. Against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, he was five for 16. His shooting troubles predated the fall, however; most recently, he was a combined 10 for 37 in the Clippers’ losses to Milwaukee, Toronto and Dallas.
