Seeing Los Feliz become a used car lot, especially on the weekends, does not strike me as an expression of free speech. It is an unlicensed commercial enterprise.

Allowing it to continue under the guise of free speech, as opposed to operating a business without a license, is disingenuous. Especially because it is often not an individual but a business with multiple cars for sale that uses the street as its no-overhead lot.

Here’s an idea: The city could create a used car lot/flea market where people could bring their cars to sell.

The street-car-sales blight, along with illegal billboards, needs to be dealt with assertively. And soon.
