Plane crash: A story that ran in some editions of Thursday’s California section about a plane crash at Santa Monica Airport included incorrect information about the type of plane as well as a witness to the accident. The story identified the plane as a Marquetti acrobatic plane. It was a Marchetti SF-260 aerobatic plane. The story also misspelled the first name of eyewitness Crista Worthy as Christa.
