It’s a rerun of sorts
You’ve seen his face all over TV for years, now won’t you please go see the man’s house? Actor Vondie Curtis-Hall and his wife, Kasi Lemmons, just dropped the price on their Hollywood Hills home by 21% -- from $2,899,000 to $2,295,000.
Previously, they listed it at $3,595,000 in 2007 -- they’re asking 36% less now. The house has been on and off the market since 2005.
The one-story Spanish-style house has 360-degree views of the city, ocean and valley. It sits on a hilltop at the top of a long country lane and is gated.
The 3,188-square-foot house has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, a flat grassy yard, a deck and a kitchen that opens to the pool. The house is truly private -- as paparazzi-proof as they come -- and should appeal to those who like their seclusion to come with a view.
Hall, 52, did 104 episodes of “Chicago Hope” from 1995 to 1999, playing Dr. Dennis Hancock. He stuck with the hospital drama genre for a while (eight episodes of “ER” from 1994 to 2001) and has appeared in countless other shows, including “Law & Order,” “The Sopranos,” “Soul Food” and “Medium.”
He’s also no stranger to the other side of the camera, having directed episodes of “The Starter Wife” and “Gossip Girl.” He also has written several screenplays.
Lemmons, 47, directed “Eve’s Bayou” in 1997, “The Caveman’s Valentine” in 2001 and “Talk to Me” in 2007.

Quite a spread to hide in Hidden Hills
Speaking of being all over TV, in the 1990s, it was hard to turn on the television without seeing Miguel Ferrer. The actor -- the oldest of five kids born to actress-singer Rosemary Clooney and Academy Award winner Jose Ferrer -- simultaneously appeared in three prime-time TV series.
Ferrer, who more recently costarred in “Crossing Jordan” (2001-07) and NBC’s “Bionic Woman” (2007) has listed his Hidden Hills home at $4,999,999. He co-owns the property with his wife, entertainment industry executive Lori Weintraub. They are the parents of four teenage sons.
The Mediterranean estate has 9,735 square feet and enough room for horse facilities.
There is a chef’s kitchen with a breakfast area, a spacious family room and entertainment area, and a master bedroom suite with three walk-in closets. The property has a pool, a spa, a barbecue pavilion and a putting green. Ferrer is said to be a golf nut.
Hidden Hills is a gated community. The Kardashian family and actress Denise Richards also own homes there that are on the market.
In the early 1990s, Ferrer appeared as D.A. Todd Spurrier in “Shannon’s Deal,” as cop Beau Jack Bowman in “Broken Badges” and as the abrasive FBI forensics specialist Albert Rosenfield in “Twin Peaks.”
He was nominated in 1999 for a Grammy for best spoken word album for children for his work in Disney’s “The Lion King II.”
Ferrer is currently filming “Wrong Turn at Tahoe” for Paramount Pictures, which costars Cuba Gooding Jr. He will also appear in “Kings,” a new NBC show that is filming in New York and will premiere this spring.

Where’s Waldo? Selling his estate
It’s been said that in Hollywood, there is a short list for everything -- even if it changes hourly. But on the short list of decorators is one venerable name that has been there for decades: Waldo Fernandez, who just listed his Beverly Hills home at $10,995,000.
The walled 1926 Mediterranean has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in about 7,200 square feet. It was completely remodeled by Fernandez with his trademark attention to detail and includes high ceilings in the living room, a gourmet kitchen with breakfast area, a formal dining room, a den-media room and an open family room. French doors lead to the lush gardens, swimming pool, outdoor fireplace and tennis court.
Fernandez was the mastermind behind the face-lift of the Beverly Hills Hotel, and when Jennifer Aniston gets tired of beige walls, it’s “Get me Waldo!” she apparently cries.
The Cuban-born Fernandez got his start as a set designer on “Doctor Dolittle” and “Planet of the Apes” -- the 1960s originals. Over the decades, he has worked for Elizabeth Taylor, Sean Connery, Goldie Hawn and other celebrities.

Psst, ‘Gossip Girl’ boss is moving up
The so-called queen of the teen genre, “Gossip Girl” co-creator and executive producer Stephanie Savage, is doing something very grown up: She just listed her Hollywood Hills home at $899,000 and is moving to a bigger place befitting her success.
The 1924 two-story she is selling has two bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms in 1,318 square feet. It sits on a knoll on a street with trendy boutiques and restaurants at one end and a park at the other.
Before launching “Gossip Girl” -- of which she has been executive producer for 23 episodes from 2007-08 -- Savage was a writer and producer of the Fox TV series “The O.C.” from 2003-04.
Her other television credits include producing “Fastlane” (2002-03).
