VS. CHICAGO

Time: 7:30 PDT.

On the air: None.

Where: Home Depot Center.

Records: Sol 6-1-2; Red Stars 2-3-2.

Update: Seeking to extend its winning streak to four games, the Sol tonight plays Chicago for the first time. The Red Stars, under English Coach Emma Hayes, have had a mixed time in Women’s Professional Soccer so far. Chicago has lost its last three, all at home, has been shut out in four of its seven matches and has not scored a goal in 308 minutes. Chicago will be missing midfielder Carli Lloyd after she suffered a deep cut to her left knee while training with the U.S. national team. Los Angeles’ plus-9 goal difference (11 scored, two allowed) leads the league. The Sol has not been scored upon in the three matches in which French midfielder Camille Abily has scored a goal. Sol midfielder Aly Wagner, who missed Saturday’s 2-0 win over St. Louis Athletica because of a groin strain, remains an unlikely starter in tonight’s match, which will be webcast on the Sol and Red Stars websites at www.LosAngelesSol.com and www.ChicagoRedStars.com.
